My Hair Loss History

I started loosing my hair on the crown of my head when I was about 28. I remember it was right after my barber was cutting my hair and, as she struggled to get her comb through my thick locks, commented, "Well, you'll never go bald."
Over the years I have tried every shampoo, chemical and potion known to man. Nothing helped.
I refused to get a hair piece. I just didn't want something that ALMOST looked natural. I either wanted the real thing or nothing. |

Third Procedure

Well, I got my third transplant about a month ago now. The Doc was able to do almost 2000 folicular units this time (over 2000 both time before). Of course the stitches have been out for about 3 weeks and the healing there is coming along nicely.
My first procedure was to the front top, the second to the back top (crown) and the third was all over to thicken things up. As most of you already know, the new transplants have now fallen out and the units are in the shock mode right now, so we are still about 3 months from seeing the results. To me this is the hardest time. I can't wait to see it.
I've asked my Doc for the pictures he took the day of the surgery so I can post them. I will also get my wife to take some picture from now and get them up shortly. |
