Just Had My 2600 Grafs / Dense Packing I would like to start out by saying that I highly recommend Dr. Scott Alexander and his staff from Phoenix, AZ. I spoke with the Doctor a few times on the phone before heading out there. He was very professional on the phone and answered alot of my questions. We had a few conversations leading up to day before departure. His office called me prior to and emailed all my pre-op papers. They also gave a lot of recommendations on hotels, shopping and other things to do while we were out there, which I thought was very nice. We arrived in Phoenix and headed straight to his office when we landed. We went over pre-op plans and what to expect the next day. He drove us back to our hotel along with recommendations on where to eat dinner that night. The next day, I headed to his office and my wife headed to do some shopping. He prepped me with markings, etc and began to do the donor area. He used custom blades to make the incisions. While he was stitching my donor area up, his three technicians were in another room seperating the follicles for implantation. His surgical room was well equipped with a tv and direct movies for entertaining. We sat down and talked together during lunch in his office...very down to earth doctor. After lunch his staff began to implant. That took about 4 hours until the it was over. Dr. Alexander and his staff were very professional and very comforting. He followed up with me the day after my procedure and when I returned back home to Boston. All in all a very nice experience and I am glad he used the latest technology out there on my head. I can definetly already see a diference with the dense packing procedure. Great recommendations from his staff to eat and shop and stay around his facility, which I thought was a nice touch. I will keep you updated on the progress. Rob Gott |
