I probably started losing my hair in my 20's but never really noticed, (too busy with job, settling down, family etc). I've read that by the time you notice your hair is thinning you've already lost about 60% or more. I did consider getting a hair system when I was in my late 30's and even went for a consultation but was left in the office alone for a hour, (guess they forgot about me), so left and never bothered to call back, (a rather fortuitous result it would seem now!). I live in the lower mainland, (Vancouver, B.C.), and Hasson & Wong have a really annoying radio jingle, believe me, it's corny. Anyway, in this age of the internet I decided to check into HT's and was surprised by the results I saw. In July of 2003 I had a consultation with Dr Hasson and left his office with a prescription for Proscar and a good feeling about my prospects of a HT along with the sort of budget needed. I took the plunge and booked my procedure in February for the end of June 2004, arranging my holidays to give me 4 weeks off after the surgery. |
