My Hair Loss History

First of all, my photo on the main page is from 2000 around age 20/21 when I was a NW2. Hairloss didn't bother me much then and it was really a big factor in my life.
I was a NW 1 or low 2 going into college in 1998. By 2000, I was a strong (not so bad) NW2 and I started using Equate Minox 2% on the temples with no results. Later I switched to Kirkland Minox 5% and maintained decent results from 2000-2003. At that point I dropped Minox (because my shoes were too small and I read that a side effect of minox is swollen hands and feet) which was very stupid and immediately went on Propecia. After stopping Minox, I shed for 4 months bad (see the month 2 pictures). Then I got back on Minox and added other various supplements to get back to a pretty good NW3.
I felt since I've been on Minox for years and Propecia for 14 months that it was time for a transplant so I got 26xx FUs from Dr. Alvi in and behind the hairline in the hopes of restoring my look of about 4 or 5 years ago. |
