Hair loss to about Norwood 5 by age 48. Based on TV ad (no research) I had 1st HT at Seattle Bosley: 1600 grafts-a few hundred in back & top, most in front. 7 months later (after internet research) had a 2nd HT: Dr. Hasson used 1530 grafts to add 1/2" in front to lower hairline and part way down the temples. 5 years later (4/5/06) I had a 3rd HT: Dr. Hasson placed 2230 grafts across entire top front. I will post the results of 3rd HT as they come in.
I began taking 1.25 mg Proscar every other day in 2001.
I increased to 1.25 mg Proscar every day 4/5/06.
I quit taking Proscar 3/5/07 for two reasons:
1. I never saw any hair growth, in fact I lost a bit.
2. Main reason: Sexual side effects |
