Basically, at around 17 years old I was already at a NW2 but with minimal thinning. I started college in the Fall of '04 and while all my buds were concerned with which hair product worked best for them, I was getting a prescription for propecia. I used it for a week but it lowered my drive completely which was very scary. I told my dad this and he forbade me from using it anymore. I agreed with him aftering researching some individuals that suffered permanent sexual and physical side effects even after dropping propecia.
At that point, my hair started to thin again starting from the front hairline area. I styled my hair but it was always annoying to have to pick a certain boring hairstyle that would hide my scalp because of the thinning hair.
At age 18, the thinning continued to a point where no hairstyle could conceal my problem. I tried cutting my hair short to have a cleaner look but my hairline receded so much by that point that I still looked 10 years older.
The thinning stabilized around the 4 months of 2006. My hair was thin mostly in the first 6-7 cm.
I called Jeff late 2005 and scheduled a meeting. I took a canceled appointment for the 31st of January. Flew out there with my mother and received 4671 grafts. |
