1100 single-hair grafts for the hairline
1200 double-hair grafts behind the hairline
Hairline density behind the singles is approx. 65/cm2
Several hundred single-hair grafts were also used to re-build my temple points.
Brief history:
Started losing my hair in my early 20's. Used minoxidil sucessfully for a few years until my scalp became unhealthy. I lost a lot of hair after stopping minoxidil. Then I used propecia for 3 years, got a lot of my hair back. Then I foolishly stopped propecia and used only minoxidil, losing a lot of hair again. Lesson here is don't stop your meds. I've been on Avodart for 3 months now without side effects. Hopefully this will complement the progress of the hair transplant. |
