Started losing my hair in my mid 20's, but only seriously noticed when I saw a holiday snap of my seriously thin crown when I was 26.
I was always conscious of my thinning scalp, but having my hair long and as a comb over it didn't massively bother me.
I began to get alarmed from 30-32 then I experienced significant loss, but I put that down at the time to that period being a VERY stressful period. However it never grew back :-(
At 33 I had a consult with Dr Rogers in the UK and he recommended propecia which I didn't really want to take. I stumbled across some very useful forums and started researching Dr Hasson and Dr Feller for a HT.
I booked my first HT with Dr Feller in the fall of 2007 with the op scheduled for February 2008.
On the 18th February 2008, I received 3163 grafts (1's-723, 2's-1592, multis-848) with tricho closure from Dr Feller. All grafts packed in my front third and combined with straightening my hairline. The whole experience with Dr Feller and his excellent techs was awesome.
I am planning a second HT in early 2009 with Dr Feller to hit my mid section and reduce my crown. Let's see how HT 1 grows out first though.... |
