 My Hair Loss History

I started noticing my hair loss at about 23 years old, but I'm sure it started sooner I got on propecia at age 27, which pretty much has halted or slowed my loss to this point. My first HT was at age 29 from Dr. Wolf in Cincinnatti which consisted of 1500 FUE. Although this produced results, it just wasn't enough as my hair in the frontal 3rd was very thin and 1500 grafts will only go so far.
In July of 2007 I contacted Dr. Rahal for an online consult, but I was still on the fence about having another HT at the time. unlike most of the other online consults I did with many of the top docs, Dr. Rahal didn't just throw out a graft number. He wanted to know more about my expectations, goals and wanted to devise an overall plan for me. This really impressed me, so about 3 weeks later I contacted Dr. Rahal's office and booked a surgery date. |
