Summary of the Wood's Follicular Relocation Chest
Hair Procedure
NO BIOPSY REQUIRED SUITABLE FOR ALL PATIENTS
1 Local anaesthetic is administered to the chest area.
2 The chest hair is trimmed.
3 Individual follicular units are removed microsurgically
via 1mm incisions.
4 No stitches are required.
5 Local anaesthetic is administered to the recipient area.
6 The follicles are inserted via 21 gauge hypodermic needles
under magnification and fibre optic illumination.
7 The patient is fully awake and interacting with the doctors
during the entire procedure.
