Introduction
Revivogen
is a topical DHT inhibitor made from natural ingredients like
Saw Palmetto and Gama Linolenic Acid and is used to treat Androgenic
Alopecia. It has no side effects and is safe for use by both
men and women.
What
it is
Revivogen is a clear topical solution that contains several
natural proven DHT inhibiting ingredients. Revivogen's
ingredients have been scientifically proven to reduce DHT production
and claim to be more effective than Propecia® in blocking the
enzyme that produces DHT
without any of the associated side effects. Since it is a topical
solution it helps inhibit DHT directly at the follicle level.
How
it works
The active ingredients of Revivogen are natural compounds proven
to be potent inhibitors of 5-Alpha-Reductase, the enzyme that
produces DHT. These active ingredients include Gamma Linolenic
acid (GLA), Alpha Linolenic acid (ALA), Linoleic Acid, Azaleic
acid, Vitamin B6, Zinc, and Saw Palmetto Extract. New research
has shown that GLA, ALA, Linoleic Acid and Azaleic Acid are
the most powerful inhibitors of 5-alpha-reductase, the enzyme
that produces DHT. Revivogen is the only product that contains
GLA, ALA, and Azelaic Acid in one topical formula. In addition,
the combination of these powerful ingredients with Linoleic
Acid, Vitamin B6, Zinc Sulfate and Saw Palmetto Extract has
resulted in the most potent natural anti-DHT formula available
today. Revivogen's active ingredients block both type I and
II forms of 5AR Equally and up to 98% (Propecia blocks type
II 5AR only and up to 70%)
What
to expect
Revivogen
is a relatively new product on the market without any published
studies. However the active ingredients have been individually
proven to work in independent scientific studies. Early reaction
from users seems to be very positive and some people have claimed
to have had excellent results. If you are in the early stages
of Androgenic Alopecia (Male Pattern Hairloss) Revivogen will
have the most impact, people with advanced hair loss should
use a hair growth stimulant like Rogaine along with Revivogen
for optimal results.

Side
effects
Revivogen
is made from natural ingredients and has no known side effects.
Some people do experience a mild itch/burn which usually dissappates
after a few days.
Best
Results
Revivogen
can be used by people who want to inhibit DHT but dont want
to use a drug treatment like Propecia. It is also a safe option
for use by women suffering from Androgenic Alopecia. For optimal
results people with advanced hair loss should use it in conjunction
with a hair growth stimulant. For early stages of Androgenic
Alopecia it is sufficient on its own. If you are already using
Propecia there is no harm in using Revivogen as well and it
will result in additional benefits since you are inhibiting
DHT both systemically and topically. Some people don't respond
to Propecia so adding a topical DHT inhibitor like Revivogen
may make a significant difference.
How to use it
The company recommends applying 1ml of the topical solution
once a day. If you are using Rogaine or another topical its
best to wait a few hours between applications. Its recommended
that the Revivogen is applied first and the other topicals 1-2
hours later. Some people may experience a slight burn, this
can be alleviated by using a product like Tricomin after the
Revivogen which has a soothing effect on the scalp.
Revivogen includes a shampoo with the same ingredients as in
the topical solution but in a lower concentration. It is not
necessary to use the shampoo but many people feel it has an
added benefit.
