The Society for Investigative Dermatology concluded its 63rd Annual Meeting which was held from May 15-18, 2002 at the The Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles, California.

Hundreds of the world's top hair and skin researchers attended this meeting to share their latest research and findings.

Researchers from labs and universities around the globe presented their papers and posters for the peer review of their colleagues. Subjects included the identification and role of various genes involved in hair growth, diseases that affect the skin, and the results of new drug therapies.
