Hair Transplant Questions & Answers

Subject: How many procedures will I need?

Question: If I had a transplant, (I am a Norwood 2 or 3), how many procedures would I need to restore my hairline and how long do I have to wait before I can do sports after the procedure.

Answer: You should be examined and evalutated first. The area can be covered in one session, but a second may be needed for more fullness. The second procedure, if needed, would be scheduled 8-12 months after the first, so that the results of the initial procedure could be assessed. I would wait one week for non-contact sports and 2 or more weeks for contact sports.
