Dr.
Cooley employs four graft cutters and a primary
surgical assistant/graft placer. It
might be because of the southern location, but
everyone here was exceptionally warm and friendly
to me. There is a relaxed
atmosphere and everyone went out of his or her way
to help me with anything I needed. I discovered how
charismatic Dr. Cooley is when I first met him in
Greece at the Aegean Masters meeting. Even though
we had never met before we instantly became good
friends and he was extremely helpful to me in answering
many of the technical questions I had while we watched
the Aegean Masters presentations. I was fortunate
enough to be able to interview Ailene during one
of our breaks and found she has significant training
in a nursing program. She also serves as Dr. Cooley's
administrative assistant and has been extremely helpful
and friendly every time I've called.
The staff asked me if I could give them some feedback
on anything they could do to improve their operation.
At this time I couldn't offer any suggestions. Ailene
commented they make an effort to visit other leading
hair transplant surgeons to ensure their operation
is always on the cutting edge for strip harvesting
follicular unit hair transplants.
These
are Dr Cooley staff's duties: Christina,
surgical assistant to Dr. Cooley, sets up the surgical
suite, instruments and solutions, assists
in slivering, cutting and placing. Lynn,
surgical assistant to Dr. Cooley, sets up surgical
suite, instruments and solutions,cutter. Ailene,
patient coordinator and patient care, surgical
coordinator, personal assistant to Dr. Cooley, sliverer.
Brandi, surgical assistant to Dr. Cooley, assists
Dr. Cooley during the surgical part of the transplant
and the placement of the follicular units.
