June 06, 2003, -- The manufacturer of the Dermaroller has announced the release of a brand new hair growth product called VITAFLUX, a formulation of 2.5% Minoxidil and 2.5% Vitamin-A in a liposomal formulation.

For optimal results the manufacturer is selling the product together with its Dermaroller which allows increased penetration of topicals through the skin.

The Institute for Pharmaceutical Technology & Biopharmacy of the University of Marburg/Germany conducted two scientific studies which proved the efficacy of the Dermaroller. In tests it allowed active substances to penetrate through the stratum corneum by a factor of 11, compared with normal topical application.

One benefit of this increased absorption is that it makes it possible to use just one application per day instead of two. The manufacturer recommends that VITAFLUX is applied at night and since it is a liposomal formulation, it does not irritate and itch like the propylene glycol based Rogaine solution.

The product comes in a 50 ml lotion type bottle along with a Dermaroller. If used once a day, the manufacturer says it will last for two months.
