Has anyone here tried this?

Will a scalp biopsy illustrate levels of DHT in the scalp?

I figure one could get a baseline biopsy to see where they're levels are at, then use RU for about 6-8 weeks and get another biopsy to determine the efficacy of RU (if any)?

Ru has no effect on the DHT levels

What are you trying to prove ?

-------------------------
FIN (1998 to 2004)
DUT (2004-2008)
DUT + Flutamide & Fluridil (2008)
DUT + RU (end 2008)
RU only (dosages 20mg to 400mg/day 2009-2011)
RU+Minox (2011- current)

At present: only RU 20 to 60mg/day (depending on hair length) mixed with Minox 5%

The amount (and type) of androgens bound to hair follicle cells. If RU is an anti-androgen or competes with androgens at the receptor level, then less androgens should be bound to these receptors (compared to baseline) after using RU for a period of time, right?

Seems like it would be useful to determine the efficacy of the drug.

Not trying to prove anything, just curious.
