The patient above came to Dr. U after experiencing hair loss in her temple areas due to traction alopecia. Traction alopecia, sometimes called tension hair loss is the condition in which harsh hairstyles like braids, extensions, or tight ponytails pull the follicles from their roots. The follicles fall out over time, resulting in permanent hair loss.

Dr. U decided to treat the patient's hair loss with a FUE hair transplant surgery using his advanced Dr.UGraft system. He extracted 200 grafts from the donor area on her head using his hybrid FUE tool, the Dr.UPunch Rotor.

Dr.U then reconstructed the hairline by carefully inserting the UGrafts into the bald area on the patient's temple. By taking into account the growth pattern on the scalp and matching it, Dr. U produced natural looking results that seamlessly integrated with the patient's hairline.

The patient is very pleased with the results of her surgery. Using the Dr.UGraft system, she was able to cure her hair loss. The patient can put her hair up without fear of revealing any bald spots, which makes her feel more empowered.
