Close there is a direct relationship between the amount of criticism a clinic receives and their history of complaints or questionable postings. You should not take this personally.

-------------------------
Stay away from doctors who perform mega sessions, have posts deleted, attack posters, sue patients & forum owners, use power drills or robots. I recommend fue with hand punches in the .70-.85 range. I consulted with dozens of clinics over the years and there was a recurring theme regarding FUE among some employees of those other clinics. I was told Bisanga was the man my research told me the same and my experience validated my own research.

ok no prob... I attach some pictures of the beard donor areas. The recovery is amazing, faster than that of the head donors. I am impressed, let's see now if all grafts will grow....

Mr. Smith you waited a whole year to come on to the forums and then waited for a DHI thread to be started by someone with a total of 12 posts because you needed a release?

I post when I have time... its's not a way of life for me as it obviously is for you.

Some of us have better things to do with our lives than to respond to bullying tactics. A wee birdee tells me your not who you say you are.

Close - just ignore the nasty posters - they have a strategic agenda and in my opinion, are not here to truly contribute help others positively through their hair loss problems. You will find out in time who they are and what they are really like.

Good luck wit the hair - it looks awesome dude! and for the record, DHI were really nice to me. They did a great job

If so you need to state that according to FTC rules.

It just find it interesting that we haven't had many DHI patients posting here for years, but suddenly we have a number of DHI patients all posting their results here around the same time.

The last time I asked this question to a DHI patient in Ireland a few months back he never responded to my question and just stopped posting altogether.

Why did you guys end up posting your results here? What motivated you to do so since we mainly deal with North American doctors?

On 1-9-12 in this tread(my hair loss treatment and results in the HT patients results forum) dhi client 2011 posted the same pics as Mr.Smith did here in this thread looks to me like he's shilling for the clinic.

I smell shills.

In the 80's, doctors routinely sent their patients home with 5 mm plugs in rows across their head and told them they would be looking great in no time. Don't believe someone because they have 'Dr.' in front of their name. Greed can make anyone lie.

Hi to all,
Almost 1 month since my last HT and it is time for my standard update ... I notice that this time the transplanted hair did not fall in such an extent as in previous times. A 50% and above is probably there. I know that the transplanted hair may fall up to 2 months sometimes, but so far, many are here and already have started to grow. The biggest drop in transplants is on the top-crown (once again). I also post a photo from the beard donor area... all goes great, but because they chose the black hairs there is a little dissonance with the rest of the beard ....

Big improvement from where you began. Nice work. How does your beard area look when shaved? Do you keep a stubble because of some signs of scarring, even if the scarring is minimal? The reason I ask is because I may do beard grafts in the near future too, and I like to keep my beard area shaved daily. If, or when, you shave the beard next, can you upload some pics?

If I read your blog correctly, to date, you've had 5,536 grafts total?

Hi poppy,
Yes I have 5.5336 grafts in total. There are no scars in my face, the only reason I keep my beard like that is because I like it. If I shave it, I will take some photos. However, as my doctor mentioned, we have to wait for the summer to pass in order to ensure that there will be no scars (white dots) at all, as sun plays a significant role on that. The extraction tool used in my beard was 0,7 and 0.8 mm, so even if the sun creates any dots, I am sure these will be almost invisible. I hope I answer your questions.

Hi guys,
I' am in month 5 now and as usual I have uploaded new pictures in my photo-album: http://imgur.com/a/hyVtt#24
Generally, the situation is almost identical with this in month four. However, many new hairs slowly start to appear.
In the beard donor area there are no scars at all and both density and quality have not greatly affected.

6 months and new hairs continue to come up ... The result is striking compared with how I was 2 years ago. In these images I left my hair to grow a little bit longer. This is the limit in length over which the hair curls and the styling become very difficult (I wish I had straight hair). In a few days I will maybe upload new photos because I think I will get a shorter haircut. You cannot imagine my joy as I use foam, gel and brush again in all over my head .... Every day I wake up look myself in the mirror and it seems incredible.

Nice to hear people who are very happy with their HT results and are close to their final goals. Congrats.

Do you think you're done? Or do you think you'll do more HT or pigmentation?

What clipper number do you cut your hair?

I'm so not looking forward to my FUE procedure next week. Three long days of transplants and then a 24 hour flight back home the 4th day. But, will be very happy 5 months from now. I was thinking if I can't get satisfactory density I may do a light touch of pig. But would love to see pics of someone else who got pig just to minimize the color contrast between the low-density hair and the scalp skin.

Hi Poppy, I hope your HT will make you happy. I had felt the "not so looking forward" feeling you mentioned but believe me the result after 5-6 months will make you forget all these. As far as my density is concerned (and actually the density of every person with an HT) I never expected the density I had when I was 18, however, the density in the recipient area is good ranging from 45-95 grafts or follicles/cm2 whereas in my donor area I have 105-110 follicles/cm2 (all of my donor area had been "worked" for extraction of grafts. So I suppose before my HTs my donor area must have at minimum 160-170 follicles/cm2). A huge role in the density of an HT plays not only the number of grafts/cm2 but also if the grafts are multy-haired and if the doctors used the most appropriate angle of insertion (so as to achieve the best illusion). No I am not thinking of micropigmantation in order to fix some small gaps, because I think that the color will fade away after some months and also because I really start to become gray any way, but yes I am thinking about using another 800-1000 grafts (most of them from my beard) in order to fix gaps in some parts. as far as the above mentioned about my density, I will upload some photos in order to see what I mean.

Hi back at ya, Close.

A 45+ graft/cm2 density is awesome. That's virtually NW0, if you assume the average graft has 2 hairs. That comes to roughly 580 hairs per square inch. I've read on multiple websites that the average non-balding dark-haired male has between 600-900 hairs per square inch.

Who told you your densities? Was it your last doctor?

I'm going to ask Umar if he can tell me what my donor and recipient densities are before and after my next procedure.
