These photos were taken the 12 month mark from my last procedure with Dr. Umar in which he placed 3000 Beard Hair grafts in my crown area and the top center part of my head.
At the 6 month mark or so I became very discouraged with my results, and I contacted Dr. Umar with photos and emails regarding my progress at the 6 month mark.
Dr. Umar told me that I could not access the full results of the procedure at the 6 month mark, and that it would take up to a year before we could determine the success of the procedure--especially because we were dealing with non-head hair.
Being fairly experienced with hair tranplantation I knew that it took a lot of patience--I now know that it takes even much more patience when dealing with non-head hair. I have also learned that you cannot always look at other people's photos and try to gauge what your results should be at a certain time frame.
The first and second photo are before, and the third and fourth is at the 12 month mark after the last procedure.
You will notice the photos were teken in extrememly bright light. There is no distortion or attempt at deception whatsoever with my results.
I have a video I will post as soon as I can get it in the right format to post on the forum.

There has been a noticeable improvement. It is also natural looking. For beard hair I think it is looking like a decent result at 6 months. Though difficult to tell without better pics.

3K grafts is a lot.
It is only 6 months.. and for that time beard.. it is pretty damn amazing.
If this is your final result, i would still be OK with it, but would know strip would yield better results.
My guess is things will get much better and this will be a real success. Congrats! Please keep us updated!

Hello:
This is my result at the 12 Month mark since the procedure. I had 3000 Beard Hair Grafts placed in my crown and mid scalp section NOT head hair.
Beard hair grafts are singles and cannot be compared with head hair grafts.
I am very pleased with my result especially considering the fact that I do not consider my beard hair to be of very thick caliber.
Thanks for both of your comments.
I will try and get a video posted soon.

I really wish Umar would learn to take good before AND after photos. The before pics are bad, not to mention the after pics show the hair lighter in color..
I am glad you are happy, however this is no way for any of us to tell how good it really is or is not
-------------------------
First transplant with karamikian 6/05, less than 1000 to my hairline, result was mediocre at best.
2nd HT, this time with DR Feller 2/08, 3000+ to my front third.
Came out well, however due to thin hair characteristics, I need more for a fuller look.
3rd HT with Dr Feller 9/09. Roughly 1000 into my crown, and roughly 1500 into the thin front 1/3 portions as well as the hair behind the 2nd HT that receded.

Very impressive, especially when dealing with 100% beard hair. Very encouraging for those with no donor head hair left.
Did you take those pictures and video?

Need wet pic for better look on that bald area.

Go back and take another look at my videos, and then come back and tell everyone that I was trying to present them in a way to best cover the once bald area.

Where in my post did I state that Dr. Umar took the photos? It's not so easy for me to just hop on a plane and fly from TN to Southern CA for a glass of tea and a photo op anytime I feel like it. The hair appears lighter (actually redish) because my beard hair when grown out has a lighter/redish color to it as opposed to my scalp hair. Kinda makes sense now being that it was beard hair that was transplanted into that area doesnt it? Thanks for pointing that out.

I guess it is time for you to eat crow now. The poster never stated Dr. Umar took the pix.

Davis always does this.
Complains about pictures, complains about video.
Never meets any of these patients in person.
It's his schtick.
I think he just "punking" Dr. Umar now.
Look up his past threads, it's all the same.
Yawn.

You did not specify that you took them, so I would say where in your post did you state that you took these photos?
Your hair looks very dark in the pre pics, and much lighter in the after pics. Even the native ahirs don;t look as dark

I always do what? question "evidence"? yes I question all questionable evidence. Maybe if more of you did so we would not have a bunch of people/ companies selling snake oil all the time.
punking?
I haven't seen 1 shred of good before and after pics from Dr Umar to date..
That's all we have to go by on the internet, quality photos

Davis, when a patient posts his results here and appears happy, what's the point of trying to make it look like he is scamming people?
Also, I'm curious about something, have you ever been critical of a Feller patient when they posted their results on any forum?
If so I would like to read the thread where you attacked another Feller patient like this because you didn't approve of how he took his pictures.

I could not let this one go. This is your response to a post about the PRP results that Feller posted.
I'll let people draw their own conclusions about your objectivity.
Taken from this thread.

A poster called LookingForAnswers said this:
Those pics are BS. Two weeks and regrowth? Feller should be ashamed of himself for presenting those. I used to have respect for him, not anymore. Just another crap-o-la salesman.
And this was your response.
I don;t think its regrowth per se man. It smore the thickening of the hair.. If you have diffuse thinning, and all those hairs get thicker, thats def possible..
The May before and July after pic Feller has posted is roughly 6 weeks after. Plenty of time for hair to thicken up.
I personally am not looking at PRP to regrow.. If it maintains and thickens existing hair, it is a HUUUUGE leap in the hair industry!
Good luck to lal of those test subjects, please keep us posted
