I was glad to meet this patient who had had good work done by a reputable doctor in the past. Like many patients though, he developed "hair greed" and wanted his hairline made significantly thicker. We cut his hair and placed single follicular unit grafts around each of his previously transplanted hair to give maximal density with minimal trauma.

Something odd about the graft angles in the hairline. A bit too vertical from what I've seen.

Thanks for the comments to all of you all. I will post pics as time passes and his hair grows in. He was packed at about 60 grafts/sq.cm.; but remember that we placed this AROUND his previously transplanted grafts with care so as to limit damage to what was placed previously by another doctor. This has consistently produced outstanding results for us and the key is our extremely small (0.7-0.8mm) custom made blades which allows both high density, and very little trauma to the surrounding tissue. When I transitioned to this technique, I could not believe the results and the virtually bloodless procedures that it allows! As to the hairline being too vertical comment, we do make the recipient sites more vertical as we come forward to allow for combing and parting the hair as the patient desires. I can't recall a post-op complaint about that in 12 years.

Thanks again for the interest.
