I came across this blog and thought I'd share what a great hair transplant experience I had with Dr. Mark DiStefano. When I was in my mid 20's, I went for a consultation at a Bosley location and wasn't happy with my experience. I was rushed in and then rushed out. I decided not to get the procedure done at that point. Later that year, I was talking to a friend of mine who said he had received a hair transplant from Dr. Mark DiStefano. I would have never known unless he told me, the hair line looked great. I went in for a consultation a few weeks later and found the staff to be great, Dr. DiStefano looked at my hair personally and the price was about half of what Bosley quoted me. I had the procedure done and it may sound vain but I felt like a whole new person when the hair started to grow in. I looked my age again and I can't explain the amount of confidence that it gave me. It was a great decision to get the transplant done and an even better decision to have it done by Dr. DiStefano. The staff kept me entertained during the procedure and Dr. DiStefano called me personally a few months later to check in. The results were just amazing. I went in for another session about a year ago and again, the results have been amazing. Dr. DiStefano knows what he is doing, trust me. If anyone has any questions, feel free to respond and I'd be happy to share more of my experience or pictures. As you can tell, I like talking about the experience because it was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Matt-- can you post some pics of yourself? Do not take this the wrong way, but your going to get a ton of flack on this site and the other site you posted on---your messages are identical and on the same day----you signed up and posted this same message for your first post on both sites---on the other site you raised a 1 year-old thread to do so.

I'm just trying to help you out--- if you want to stick around and truly share your experience, the members here will require you to share some pics of your journey.

With that said, I am happy that you had a good experience with Dr. DeStefano---I haven't seen much of his work--it would be good to have a patient of his post here.

Jason, thanks for the feedback. Honestly, I'm not sure I'll be on these sites all that often, I just happened to find a few and thought I'd post my experiences. I remember the toughest part of the process for me was finally pulling the trigger on the surgery as I was nervous the hair wouldn't take and I'd be wasting my money. As I said, it wasn't until I saw my friend's hair that I finally decided to do it. I know it's not easy losing your hair, especially when young, and I thought I could help others feel a little less nervous about the process by saying I just like them and it worked out for me with Dr DiStefano.

As for the replies, I know Dr. DiStefano emailed me pre and post surgery pictures, I'll look for them and post as soon as I find them.

Quick question Jason, what is FUE?

Well OK then, where do I sign?

In the meantime, why not post a current picture and an older one taken before any transplants? Those would be helpful, as well as the ones from Dr.DiStefano.

Hey everyone,
I found the before pictures that the doctor emailed me (believe it or not, I was not on drugs when that picture was taken...brutal) but I couldn't find the after. Instead, I had my wife take a couple of pictures that I have attached for you to see. As I had said in my earlier post, I am very happy with the results.

Thanks for the post Matt. I too am considering DiStefano. It's nice to see some patients with results on this site. I have been looking for a local doctor for sometime. I knew there had to be someone fairly close. Your results along with TMan and highhope are encouraging.

looks like ok work on here and on the website.. but i don't see graft counts anywhere. I don't think these are megasessions. I still don't think DiStefano's results compare to the top docs from what I have seen.
