$9,000 to $10,000

These figures would included taxes most likely

Actually if you go to Dr. Rahal, it will only cost you $7,000.00 (3.50 X 2000)

Thanks for your input. I am getting ready for my third HT which will be with Dr. Path in Thailand, but wanted to check what others are paying.

FYI - 2000 grafts will cost me approx. $5K USD in Bangkok via Dr. Path. Since I live in Hong Kong, it is much easier and cheaper to go there vs. anywhere in the US. Plus, I had very good results from him on my last procedure.

How much would the prices have gone up by now or has the GFC brought the prices down a bit ?

I think a rule of thumb is that if you think you had very good results from your HT doctor then you go back to them if you need another procedure. It cuts down the number of variables that could lead to a bad HT.

A 'Government Study' is not necessarily proof - "Garbage In, Garbage Out".

Have not had an HT, turned down by 3 clinics, sadly they were right, my donor area has miniaturised.
Now here to look for any advances and give newbies another opinion.

The guy in the centre of my icon doing the inspection of scars is the ideal potential HT candidate:- Doubting Thomas

In Australia, for 2000 grafts, you will be looking at 30 thousand US.

3,000+ graphs should run7,000 to 9,000K. No tax in the US on elective surgery.

Umar charges $8 per graft, no matter where the graft comes from. Top notch doc. I've gone to him twice.

I paid a little over $11,000 for 2800 grafts at Bosley in Denver in 2011. These estimates above sound high.
I had a recent smaller procedure at $5/graft. Different surgeon this time.
