Hello all, So like I said i'm new..to this hair loss thing. I'm 21, i've always had fine hair and always had a high hair line, which this I am use to and can somewhat handle. I say for the last 6 months I have been paying attention to it and my hair on top seems to be thinning some. Normally with it laying flat it isn't to bad, if you look closely i can kind of see through it. but when if lift up my hair I can see through it pretty good and see an alright bit of scalp. I have been using nizoral 1% other then right out of the shower it hasn't really seemed to do anything. I've been reading about the foam rogaine and it seems to be a good way to go. But like i said i'm new so I really don't know how to go about this..any help?

I would first recommend seeing a dermatologist and have him or her see if they think you have male pattern baldness. Also, try and take pictures of your hair every month or so. Over a short period of time you should be able to determine if you are losing hair. Using Nizoral itself will not help hair loss or thinning. The most effective way to treat hair loss is "the big 3", which means taking Propecia (Finasteride), using Minoxidil, and using Nizoral as directed.
