Hi, basically 27 years old, was using the drug for 3years, i shave my head last june andjust wanted to stop fin as i didnt see the point in me using anymore, also im convinced it increased the levels ofanxiety i had, i cut down the does to 1.25 per day, for about two weeks then just cut it out all together 11days ago, i was feeling really positive and initially generally just feeling great until the last two days, all i seem to be doing is sweating???? is this a crash?

regards

Ya, I was getting anxiety when I first got on finasteride that seemed to completely level off. I am completely unsure if finasteride caused it or not. Maybe things get freaky when you ingest a chemical every day that seems to have horror stories associated with it.

Please don't worry so much about crashing. Just try to not read and believe everything you read. Never read about anyone sweating?! You will not crash! You will be well. Goodl luck!

Doesn't sound like a symptom that is commonly reported. For me coming of it is a bit like going through puberty all over again.... In total it took my sex drive about two months to come back and it was actually quite exciting.. But you do hear some horror stories about people who don't get their mojo back!!

How much and where is the sweating occurring? I sweat more than most people, and after I shaved my head, I couldn't believe how much one's head sweats. Hair normally traps it. Hair can also keep the head cooler. And then i know from experience that thinking about how much you're sweating makes you sweat more. Hopefully it's something as simple as this.
