Hi there,

I'm new to the scene here, having seen one dermatologist about my hair loss. He told me that he suggests administering Kenalog injections once a month ($90/treatment out of pocket), along with Propecia and Rogaine.

Does anyone have any experience with Kenalalog? Any words of advice on the efficacy of this treatment? Either way, am I getting ripped off?

thanks so much!

Lol, is this the same dermatologist that was pushing some other product last week? Shame on him for trying to peddle snake oils (except fin, min) on you, again! What country are you in?

Such ridiculous replies.

Kenalog is cortisone injections/steroids. Their use in your case will be to limit the inflammation which is so often present with hair loss.

i tried kenacort a injection 2 times. Each time my doctor injected Kenacort A to my vertex and temples area, once a month, 3-4 months length.

in this case, in total 7-8 times.

Kenacort A injection was pretty cheap. less or around 2 euros. i just bought Kenacort's A's for less or around 2 euros, my doctor didnt ask for extra money.

Regarding Kenacort, it helped a bit, but not much.

Why is it that every post that boosts some new product or treatment is always from a guy who has 5 posts? Then it usually gets even better, as another guy with 5 posts starts to question the other guy with 5 posts and the boxing match gets under way. Usually its with minox. brand though.

Can we some how screen these losers who bring nothing to the table on this forum?

Way, if you really are a newbie my apologies, I just get sick of seeing this stuff time and time again.

Hey, indeed, I'm a newbie. I live in Brooklyn, NY. The doctor who is suggesting the kenalog injections is Dr. Morton Zinberg. I have an appointment with him on Monday.

Am I totally getting taken for a ride here? Does anyone have experience with this? I get the feeling it's not some brand new treatment, as this doc seems pretty old school.

Any thoughts?

thanks

Why would a new member bump an old thread that promotes some useless/expensive treatment....
