I have been using this product since June 2011 along with Revita and the big three. My derm feels it will be beneficial. I have regrowth coming in on my hairline. I am 51 years old and my hair is doing well. I use bobby pins to part my hair and rub both products onto my scalp two times per day.

Just started this last week, at 0.1%. I ordered 1 gram of the stuff and mix it myself (pm if you're interested in how to get the stuff) The normal concentration is 0.03%...too low and too expensive...you need to use raw powder. If I could afford it I would use a higher concentration. Allergan are currently doing phase II trials on bimatoprost. I've read that some think that it works in a similar way as minoxidil, but then better....

I get the Bimatoprost from a Canadian Pharmacy that requires a RX. This ensures that the product is legit. I also get a bottle per month with my insurance. If you go the Canadien route, you get 10 bottles which can last for several months. It cost $130.00 for the order. I put several drops on my hairline and a little further in. Hope this helps.

What concentration is it? 0.03% i assume. To put it in perspective, 1 gram would then cost $ 17,000...!

Allergen is supposed to announce the clinical results in mid 2012 and if everything works out, they will apply for fda approval. The concentration for mpb is going to be at least 10X stronger than what is currently available for eyelashes.

.03 is obviously effective if lash hair growth is a side effect of treating glaucoma with lumigan.

So will probably be 2014 at the earliest it will be on the market. It's in phase 2 now, still has to go through phase 3.... They are testing 2% solution...not sure why it's so expensive, might be difficult to produce...

Probably not... Think dr alan bauman tested it on his patient, he said it was as effective as minoxidil..but surely higher dose will be more effective

Definately looking forward to this. Direct growth stimulants and gene therapy are the future of solving mpb.
