hi everyone, i read in my topics all over but no one's story is like mine. so my first time registering with a site and seing maybe someone can point out something helpful for my situation.

I'm 24 yr old, male.  I have no family history of hair loss at all. I started shedding at 18.  I'm not receding; dont have a pattern loss. My hair loss is all over the top of my head. I used to have a full thick head, now its a lot less.

I saw several doctors. one said it is male pattern and try propecia which i will not try no because i kno it wont help me. one said telogen effluvium try this steroid, i did and didnt help. one said try rogaine, i tried it for a week and it cause more shedding and i believe it wouldn't have stopped so i threw it away. i also did thyroid test, iron, etc.. all was normal.

where do i look for a solution? Mount Everest??

Sounds like diffuse loss.  If you still think it's unique maybe you could attach a picture.

You know more then the doctor?

TE is a symptom moreso than a diagnosis.  What steroid did he give you?  If the first doctor is correct this could make things worse.

Not long enough, and no minoxidil wont cause your hair to react with a shed in a week.

Get on the big three, add an SOD, and a topical antiandrogen.

If it is MPB, propecia will most likely help you. Why on earth would you agree to take steroids but refuse to take finasteride? Sorry, but I had to ask that.

If you truly have MPB and are a diffuse thinner (join the club), then do this.

-------------------------
Internals: .5mg Dut, 3g MSM, 5mg biotin \ day

Topicals: Once daily - mixed in shot glass
Retin-a cream
Nizoral cream
10ml phenytoin (100mg dilantin in 50% PG \ 50% Vodka)
5ml minox 5%
1ml Tricomin

Other: Laser comb (3x weekly)

Tell us what your hair deals with: diet, sunlight, a hat, shampoos, etc. My educated guess is you mean topical steroids. That suggests the doctor suspected inflammation; the reaction to Rogaine could be evidence of that. If it's inflammation, then success is more likely if you find out the cause. Also, are you having any non-hair medical symptoms?
