mike -

its only FDA approved for treating baldig at the crown/vertex of the hair. I have never used it but people have reported that it is somewhat effective in the frontal region, but i think its rare. People have had luck with spectral dnc on the front, and i have grown gobs of vellus hairs in the front with the shampoo Revita.

Ya, basically there are no tests to prove it works for the front... Many people however have had excellent results applying minox (rogaine) to the hairline and temple regions. Again, this can be said for the crown as well, you are never guaranteed results.. They certainly are possible however.

Frontal baldness sux. It makes your head look bigger. I'd rather have a baldspot on top of my head than have a whale of a forehead, looking all mean, like I'm gonna come out and attack somebody with it.

Tell people your big forehead houses a 5 pound brain. I'd say that if people said something, but they don't. Try living with the Neanderthal eye ridge too.

i have heard that minoxidil will work WHEREVER there is still a decent amount of hair on your head. if you have a very diffuse or bald hairline, than it probably wont work as well. take a look at my pics. i slathered the stuff EVERYWERE i was thinning, front, top, it all worked the same for me..
