I believe so.

Are you on anything at the moment? Have you considered zix + minox.

nothing for a while now.

i have been thinking of zix and min actually

i had good results before with min, and zix is so *****ing cheap i might as well try. i was gona try revivogen but the reviews are mixed and its too expensive for me right now.

but do you think zix is too weak for aggressive loss, especially now since a lot of my hairs are already miniaturizing? i have i left it too late for zix to be effective?

hopefully these two can hold me for a couple years till we find out what going on with these new treatments

yeah i would try the combination.

It's tough for me to tell, how effective it will be for you. But seeing as zix is considered to be anti dht, and minox and a growth stimulant, i can only imagine that the combination should have a positive effect, at least it would seem to me you should not lose any further.

I think I have aggressive hairloss. when Ive been off zix, i shed like f'in crazy. But Ive been pretty consistently applying this stuff for 11+ years now, and I still have good coverage.

So, I think it's done wonders to stave off baldness.

Please reply to me on HLT instead, i prefer to communicate there.

Cheers!

Yea, there was a study that showed zinc sulfate at first helped the follicle, but over time actually made it worse off. I'm sure if you search for zix or zinc sulfate it, or the text or summary of it, should be around.

If I didnt know better, I would be hesitant to try, however after 11+ years of using zix, I dont believe that. Ive maintained exceptionally well since I have been on it.

Wow, posted in this thread 10 years ago.

I started zix a third time a few months ago. Over the years I feel I've had more success with it than anything else. Quite fin because it was giving me gyn after a few months and minox did jack shit for me. I'm 35 and first noticed my hairloss at 23. To be honest while my forehead is definitely bigger than i would like it to be, looking at other guys my age who started balding in their 20s I'm pretty surprised I've held on to so much of my hair.

Age 33- NW2.5/3, no crown loss knock on wood

quit fin/minox years ago. currently:
-Regenepure shampoo 4-5 times a week
-Neogenic
-salicylic acid (Paula's Choice 2% BHA liquid) before applying neo
-MSM pills

I don't know, it's hard to say. I was on it for about a year, went off for a few months or so and thought I noticed it get a bit worse, so I went back on it the past few months. Really hard to tell what works and what doesn't, especially when "it works" can just mean slightly slower loss.

BTW if I wanted to add Saw Palmetto and/or beta sitosterol to my Zix mix, how much of either should I put in it?

FAT-E,

Great to hear.

With my experience I went from shedding a stupid amount of hair after dropping minox and fin, to under 20 or so hairs in the drain. That's how i knew zix was working for me.

Unfortunately the zinc Ive been using, I suspect hasnt been working wonders. Ive tried a couple and am due to try another, which is in the mail.

I'll let you know how that goes.
