Spectral RS website

This is Divine Skins Minox. free version of Spectral DNC called Spectral RS.

This is ideal for:
1.....those who have problems with Minox or the alcohol content of some Minox. formula's
2.....as a stand alone treatment for hairloss at the back of the head (me!).
3.....as a treatment in between your 2x Minox. treatments per day.

This is what Divine Skin had to say about the new Spectral RS when i queriied it via email:

"Dear sir,

The real difference between Spectral DNC and Spectral RS is indeed the absence of Minoxidil in the new product. However there are some few differences in the concentration of the ingredients and also in the herbal extracts and vitamin complex contained in the formula due to the lack of Minoxidil. Spectral RS was designed for female hair loss, since Minoxidil could be too aggressive in some cases, and also to work as a natural complement in the treatment of male hair loss along with Spectral DNC. Since the Nanosomes contained in both formulas will increase the absorption and the concentration of all the active hair loss combating agents applied to the scalp, significant results will be achieved in a much shorter period of time.

Regards,

just received my 6 bottles of Spectral RS today. Each came with an extra applicator. Will use for back of head only.

still waiting for my Spectral DNC. Will use for crown/front hopefully, if it doesn't cause a puffy face.

ordered from www.faceetc.com on 30.07.06, received 12.08.06. pretty good for international delivery to where i am.

Chrome,

I like it a lot. Nanosal is good too. My beef has been with the applicator failures and the fact that no matter how hard I've tried, I can't seem to keep it from running down my neck and onto my back. I've stopped wearing t-shirts during the application process (have already stained a dozen of them already). My new shipment this week, came with the additional "short" applicator. Hope this works!

The use of this product and continual use of my laser brush has produced regrowth. I am also in my 3rd week of "needle therapy" and I'm seeing frontal regrowth (especially in the right temple area).

I've been using Spectral DNC for about a week now. The applicator already is driving me nuts! Spyder, where did you get your spectral from with the new applicator?

Its obviously waaaay too early for me to say whether spectral has done me any good, however, I feel a little bit disappointed in how it leaves my hair looking after the application. Kind of leaves it pretty stiff and definitely looking a little bit thinner... Granted, these areas don't look great to start with, but if Spectral does its thing, and the areas fill in, but then leaves them looking crappy after application, am i in any better shape really? I'm considering ordering some nanosal to compare and see if I like that better.

What do you guys think?

Also, how is everybody applying it? Maybe that's part of my problem?

Kenyon, I buy from face, etc. http://store.faceetc.com/ They are EXCELLENT to deal with. Quick, response. About the new applicator....I've used it 3 times and it is already starting to act a bit flakey. I really can't understand why this is such a difficult thing for a company like DS Labs to not get right!!

thanks guys,

just used the Spectral RS for the first time. its a clear lotion that dries quickly. it came with an extra applicator. it has a nice smell to it.

for those with applicator problems:

1.....The Revivogen dropper fits perfect.
2.....The Remox applicator fits perfectly.
3.....The Rogaine applicator is far too big. However, all you need do is empty the Rogaine bottle and pour the Spectral into the Rogaine bottle and voila...you have an excellent applicator ! (if you ain't got Rogaine then pop out and buy a bottle and swap the contents across)

Still waiting for my DNC to come from faceetc.

US to UK shouldn't take that long but I ordered on the 26/07/06 and have still not received. Last I heard it had left Boston on the 08/08/06 to hopefully might receive soon.

After what everyone has said about their shipping, I have to say that their customer service has been shit and their delivery times have been shit.

Just goes to show that you can only judge each case on its merits.

Red,

I know just what you mean.

To make it far worse though, it will come via the Post Office and you will receive a letter to go and pick it up and have to pay Import Duty... and VAT on the price of the goods AND the Import Duty !

This makes it incredibly expensive shipping anything to the UK . Its a complete rip off.

I only ever order goods to me here as i don't pay anything extra and then return to the UK with them.

Well, 5th application from the new bottle with the new and "improved" applicator......AND the new applicator stopped working. Nothing happens when I press down. So, the new and improved spray pump applicator does no better than the other applicator.

Why is this so hard for this company to get right? Surely they test these things over and over before deciding on a new design and before deciding to begin packaging them in the Spectral DNC boxes. Why, why, why?

I decided to try one bottle and "test" Spectral DNC.

I've used it now about 10-11 times (14 sprays per time). But once this bottle runs out, I probably won't be re-ordering.

I don't really like the color of it (an orange/yellow), don't really like the smell (although it's not a "bad" smell, I just personally don't care for it). The applicator is the poorest performing hair loss product-related device I've ever used. I can't believe Spectral would still be using the plastics factory that designed this thing. The applicator is total junk! If the applicator worked, it would be great, because you could really target your scalp good if the thing only performed.

The product also leaves a yellow/orange residue on the scalp. If a person is only using this product and staying at home, than that wouldn't be a problem.

But I specifically bought Spectral so I could test it as a "morning" minoxidil. In other words, one that I could apply and than go to work. On the one hand, Spectral won't make your hair look all thin, crappy, or wispy (like regular minoxidil or Xandrox 15 will).

So on the one-hand, this is a cosmetically friendly minoxidil. Of all the minoxidils I've used, only Nanosal makes my hair look better after an application.

BUT.....on the other hand, the fact that Spectral leaves this residue is what kills the deal. At least for me.

It's disappointing too, because it's obviously (in terms of it's formula) a much more high-quality minoxidil than just the standard stuff.

I just emailed DS labs and told them about both applicators going bad on this new bottle I've only used since this past Friday.
I agree with you Mike, it is hard to believe they are still using the same company to design their spray applicators. For me, I much prefer being able to spray on the product, as opposed to using a dropper.

As for the yellow residue, I have been using a damp paper towel to wipe it off the front. This seems to work ok.
But still, it would be great if there was no yellow to have to remove or worry about.

I told DS Labs that the applicator and yellow residue problems was getting quite a bit of discussion on here and that this surely is not good publicity for Spectral DNC. Wonder how long it will take for them to get this straight?!! So far, it has been pretty disappointing.

The aplicator just doesn't work. BUT! I've figured out technique how to make it work. All you need to do is helping the pump get back up in full every time you press it. It can be done using your hand, just put your forefinger below the pipe, your thumb on top of the pump. Use thumb to press it, then your forefinger to help it get back. If you do it wrong, you will remove the cap with your forefinger, but, if you know the right amount of strength its not hard to get it done right, and next time you press the pump its going to work. It seems that it never works if the aplicator didn't return to its normal position in full. And it seems that it rarely returns. But if you help it. It should work. That's how I'm using the stuff.

I'm using it the same exact way. Only had it crap out on me completely once (sticking too bad and nothing was coming out), but the next day it was fine.

Finally a positive note from DNC users. I have been using it for couple of weeks, therefore too early to tell

If you go back and check some of my earlier posts, you will see that I have found this product (plus the use of my laser brush) to be growing hair. I am now starting to see regrowth in might right temple area too. I have also been doing the "needle therapy" for the past 3 weeks, so I am not sure what exactly to attribute the temple regrowth to. My beef along has been with the inferior pump (which I have always had to "help" by pulling up on it and then it just eventually craps out all the way) and the yellow color and how it stains everything the instant it touches it. I like what Spectral DNC does to regrow hair. Just hope D.S. Labs can figure out the other stuff along the way!

Spyder: Have you considered the dermaroller as an alternative to the needle therapy? Don't they do the same thing?
