I'll keep it short.....

Been taking cod liver oil for about a month now as i had clicking ankles
Hair shafts seemed thicker and more textured
Looked on label and it says 'maintain healthy hair'
          Worth a try!?

How can you cope with the taste and smell of this thing. Didn't it give you the runs ?

Did you try a supplement with Glucosamine, MSM and Chondroitin? It's great for the joints.

Thanks for the info. Glucosamine sounds familiar, might try it. Mine are just cod liver oil because I didnt really know what to get.

Glucosamine, MSM and Chondroitin is great for joints. I do weights and this is what gets me through squats. It will take a good 6 weeks to see a difference though but it really works. Available everywhere as well.

constant_battle, What kind of pills do you use? I have wanted to use cod liver oil and have bought it in liquid form a few times but the taste is so bad that I just couldn't do it. It is supposed to be really great for the skin and hair (health, not regrowth). I was hesitant to try the pills because of reading that they aren't effective since the liquid is "cold pressed". Does your bottle say anything about being cold pressed?

brainformuscle, are the runs a side effect?

I got them. I hated the taste as well and just threw the bottle away. I now take fish oil caps.

It does not say anything about cold pressed, just 1000mg high strength 'our purest guaranteed'
