I just got this forwarded to me:

For the last few years, my office has been next to that of a female colleague from the Boston area who is a big patriots fan and, particularly, a Tom Brady fan. We're not supposed to have anything on the walls save for degrees and "traditional" art, but she has a wall full of Tom Brady pictures that they let her get away with having. And because she was hired at the same time that I was, we've spent a lot of time in each other's office.

Well, after seeing the same Brady pics every weekday for a long time, I thought that I had noticed that Brady seemed to be losing his hair. Then, when he hosted Saturday Night Live recently, it didn't look as if he had lost anything at all. For two days, I thought I was crazy. I thought that I had imagined it. So the next Monday, I went into work and looked at the pictures again, and I saw something remarkable: Brady seemed to have less hair in the older pictures than he did when he hosted SNL---a lot less.

After looking at the pictures, I don't think that there's ANY question that he has had some kind of hush-hush cosmetic procedure done on his hair, whether it's a hair transplant, a weave, or something. I don't know what the methods are, but something just isn't right with Tom Brady's hair.

Here is a RECENT picture of Brady at my buddy's friend's birthday party:http://www.pbase.com/tombradyjr/image/41805065

And here is RECENT pic of Brady at the Vanity Fair Awards.

As you can see, his hair goes straight across his forehead, and he doesn't seem to have lost anything.

But what about these OLDER pictures?

Maybe I'm crazy, but it seems to me as if something is up. I don't fault the guy at all for doing whatever he's done, and if I were losing my hair, I might do it, too, but I don't think there's "any" doubt that the guy has had something done, and while all these tabloid magazines are screaming about Ben Affleck's hair, I think they've really dropped the ball with Brady.

Peace,

Rick

Hahaha. You're projecting.

But what do you think? Pretty conclusive.

It is possible he is using Finastertide and/or Minoxidil.

Some men respond very well to the drugs and get good results... If he did have work done it wouldnt have had to be major to get his result... Besides some temple recession and slight thinning up front, he still had a good head of hair... The right HT doc could probably give a suburb result with 1000 or so grafts...

Either way, I would expect him to advertise it

There are guys here who have no fame what-so-ever yet still get pissed when their toppik arrives in the mail with toppik on the box in bold black letters...

hahaha. yeah right. because he doesn't have a busy life or anything. i'm sure he has tons of time to sit in front of a mirror applying that crap.

"hold on guys, i'll be on the field in a minute, have to finish applying this rogaine".

from looking at the photos it looks like he got a shorter cut in the latter photos, which i think can make your hairline look lower

To be honest, I can't really tell the difference. I'll look at them ONE MORE TIME to make sure though, and let you know.

Can't tell he difference?!!! In the first older photo his temple is almost on top of his head. In the SECOND photo, he clearly has a very THIN NW 3 tuft of hair. In the newer pics, he has a 14 year old's hairline that goes straight across his forehead.

While I don't share In the shadow's mancrush on Tom Brady, nor do I have the bizarre facsination some have with either a) identifing those famous people who are starting to recede, or, b) have had work done, he has definitely had something done.

It was obvious in the last few years he was receding slightly at the temples (and letting his hair down in bangs to cover it). I just saw a Visa commercial the other night in which he has his hair REALLY short... probably cut with a 4 blade all the way around... including the top so his hairline was quite visibile and I was shocked at his hairline. It was now a NW 1 and thick at the temples. I don't know if he is a great responder to Minox/propecia or he had a procedure but he definitely has more hair at the temples... no question.

I think some people are exposing their own insecurity.

Exposing the celebrities who HAVE had something done is NECESSARY if we're ever going to erase the stigma that is attached to male hair enhancement. Society is still convinced that hair transplants are a disaster, they they look as they did when they were being done in the 1980s, and that men who prefer to look their best are in some way "strange." Transparency is the only way to overcome this negative perception.

...that's a fair point, but it'll only turn out to be a good thing if the guys in question themselves come out and say 'yeah, i had some work done, or i used some products, i didnt want to lose my hair and i did something about it, what's the big deal?? i look better with hair, and i didn't want to lose it' Coming from a respected celebrity or sportsman, a lot more people would start to think 'well, yeah, why the hell not!'.....but no these famous guys will generally swear blind they did nothing, which is just perpetuating the perception of the shameful nature of men treating hairloss!

Come on balding celebrities, grow some balls!

I made this call about a year ago in the off topic forum. He has more hair now then he did then... He's done something.

one look at tom's dad and it obvious that he's heading to Norword 6...His dad is VERY bald (and so were most of the males in the family).

I'm curious as to what he did because it looks great.

I think he had something done too.

I am not sure he's allowed to take finasteride though. It might be on the list of NFL banned substances like other physical sports. And i doubt a simple topical got him back what he has now.
