Which ingredients do I need and how much?

Also where can I get them? Can they be bought from local vitamin stores? I don't want to order over the internet because I don't have a credit card. Also, does ozbrew have any DHT fighting products in it?

Thanks in advance. Thx.

At 18, I think yould give minox more time. How long since you started, anyway?

I'm thinking of doing the same - minus the DMSO which just sounds like it'd be too weird to put on one's scalp.  (no disrepect to you ozbrew users)

But the next time I open a new bottle of my generic 5% minox - I'm going to add the MSM and l-arginine.

Does anyone know if the vitamins HAVE to be GNC brand as stated in the "official" directions - or can store brands like Rite Aid suffice?

Totally.  Notice any thickening from the ozbrew?  Thanks Angry.

to be honest i was on minox for 4 months when ui upgraded. now i have been on the modified oz brew for about 2 months. i have continued results from minox, so i cant really say if the addition of arginine and msm helped. i can say this though my hair has goten extremely darker since i added the vitamins. people are asking me if im dying my hair.

Been on minox for 7 months... It hasn't done much for me, except maybe some form of maintenance. I'm hoping ozbrew mite turn the tides in my direction

No I think it's the brew cos I have been getting comments at how much darker my hair has become, and I don't use folligen. They suspect I dye my hair too but I'd rather that than a hairloss topical.

Jam - I was just yankin' the Angry Dude.  We both have folligen issues starting from a few weeks back  :-)

Regards . . .

> Check out my website for directions on how to make my modified Zix2

JohnL  -  Interesting stuff that.

What's the final end result for the application, cosmetically speaking?    Does it dry so that it's un-noticeable.

Is it somewhat greasy like minoxidil?

TIA.

DUDE!    :-)

You're gonna make me go down the folligen road alone?    Hey, I'll spring for your next bottle if you keep posting your experiences.  Your folligen anecdotes make my day  (god, I gotta get a life).

hair_tomorrow- In my first batch I think I put in too much polysorbate 80, as it was pretty greasy (I applied it only at night before bed). I made a batch two days ago based on the exact measurements on my website, but I never got a chance to use it- my mom knocked the cup over it was settling in

I have a new batch that should be ready to finish up with tomorrow however, so I'll see if the new one isn't too greasy.

JohnL - thanks for your reply - I'm curous to hear about the new mix.  (Mothers!  - I'm still pissed off at my mother for throwing away all my comic books - I had a run of all the first run Marvels (Spidey, FF4, etc.) . . .

Angry Dude - I'm right behind you on the minimilized Ozbrew (MSM and l-arginine only).  I started yesterday.  I'm only using it 1x per day for now in the AM - still have some virgin Dr. Lee's 5% that I haven't added the vitamins to yet that I'm using after work.  I'll keep you informed.

btw - if and when people ask - u can just be semi forthright and say you've been taking some vitamins for the last few months that might have something to do w/ your new hair hair color  (u don't have to tell them you're rubbing them on your head though   :-)

That's great, so what exactly is the right combo to get that darkening effect?
