Hi all,

Not sure how many people are still active on here, but figured I'd post here and see what others think. After about 8 years on 1 mg or so of fin, I seem to be losing a bit of hair slightly around my forelock. Right at the front of the hairline. I've been about an NW 2 - NW 2.5 for the last 14 years, but I just noticed some real thinning in the front.

I am wondering what my options are from here? I am already on the big 3. I am wondering if switching from fin to avodart might be a good idea or not? Otherwise, the next best thing might be an HT somewhere down the line, but for the short term it doesn't really sound like a good option.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Ht is never a good option! I'm a bit late on this myself (hair is quite thin now) but I'm using cetirizine 10mg twice a day topically and it has completely stoped my shedding, I even stoped it for two weeks and hair started to fall again. So I guess you could ask your doctor if this would be safe for you to try.
