I have been taking this for a while now, and I have noticed a lot less greying hair. I know that the specific extracts of this have long been touted with the ability to lengthen (or at least halt the degradation of) telomeres. I was under the impression that astragalus itself only had small amounts of that extract, but I am still wondering if there is any correlation with the possible "anti-aging" effects.

Any thoughts? experiences?

May I ask what you are using? Something off the shelf? Dosage?

I have been using Znaturalfoods 10:1 astragalus extract,

I want to try the specific extract, but the cost is insane for short supply.

One of the original theories on how minoxidil worked for hair loss was that it slowed the entire aging process. If this theory is correct than applying it to the head should also slow any graying. I wish they had done more research into that but its supposed mechanism is by way of the genes.

The claims of astragalus is that it lengthens telomeres but it requires long-term years of testing to know if there's any real benefit or if using it will extend life.
