Gents

I have been living in Spain now for almost 1 year and I have especially been interested in looking at anti hairloss products on sale here incase there is something we are missing.

Well I have bought this shampoo called "Pilexil" which also complements a topical that contains "Serenoa Serrulata". Now I don´t know what this could be in English, but if someone has studied medicine etc they might be able to look it up, I think it´s latin.

The product is made in Barcelona, and I´ve seen it in quite a few pharmacies.

Anyway, from my current level of Spanish I have read on the info sheet with the product that it counter acts DHT and interupts the mechanisms causing fall-out.

Here is the composition of the Shampoo ( greatest first )-

- Serenoa Serrulata ??
- zinc PCA
- Pantenol (B5)
- Piridoxina (B6)
- Vit E
- Hidrolizado de Proteinas

PH 5,5

The topical is more or less composed of all Serenoa Serrulata but with alcholol for absorbtion.

Notice that there is no SLS in the ingredients.

After using the shampoo I would say it´s the best in my "collection" and probably won´t go to the shampoo graveyard yet. It makes the hair feel volumous, clean and smooth. Ideal for anyone like me with diffuse loss.

I don´t see many good hairs falling out as before, they now seem to be majority fine, thin hairs.

I´ve not started the topical as I am using Aminexil topical, but I might alternate with the new product soon.

Basically, if anyone can shed ( excuse the pun ) any light on the ingredients I would be most grateful.

Thanks

Thanks guys for confirming the ingredients as Saw Pal.

Judging from the ingredients there is quite alot of Saw Pal in the shampoo and topical solution.

Are there any other products out there using Saw Pal in a shampoo or topical ? And has anyone had any results from using these? When I took Saw Pal internally I just shedded ( perhaps I was a responder, but panicked and have up ).
