Hello, I'm from Europe, sorry for my english but I'm here becouse I have really big problem with my hair. It started about 6-7 months ago when I noticed that I'm losing some hair on my head. We live in small house in the village with family (4 person).

When I noticed it I bought some vitamins for hair, but it not stopped it. Next, my sister, mom and dad noticed losing hair too also. From this time we lost like HALF of our hair on FULL BODY, not only head, but whole body hair. It's really depressing... Also I got brother who live in another place but he visited us like 1-2 days per week and he also lost similar amount of his hair on whole body. And then I found on the Internet similar cases and those families had mold in the house.

Then I realized that we have black mold in one of our apartments and we ignored this earlier. It's really black mold, looks like black paint. About 1m2 in corners. And I remember when mold start exist it was about same time when I started losing hair... We removed it like 2 month ago but we are losing hair still... How to stop it? What medical examination should I make? Thyroid is okay, morphology ok, ferritin ok. What else? Please help us, we are really in despair...

Something triggered it and we don't know how to stop it... hair just got thinner, lighter and fall in big amount from whole body, not just head. It's eyebrows, eyeslashes, legs, arms, armpits and whole body. Please help us.

This is a very strange case, can you provide some pictures of the hair that you lost?

The best thing is to go to the doctors to get a full medical examination, maybe something in the drinking water? or change or diet within your family may have some harmful bacteria? Really, this is something that is difficult to answer as I am sure no one has every heard of something like this...

It's most likely to be something different in the water. Perhaps

some industrial company is contaminationg the local water supply.

Are other people in nearby families having the same experience?

If so, it's not the mold. Are you getting your water from a city wide

supply or a well? Have any new industrial plants opened recently?

You need to answer these questions in order to make a more reliable

guess as to what the cause is. Ask what things have changed recently

around you and your family.

Looking online I see mold can cause hairloss in certain circumstances.

Also ringworm.

Are you downwind from a nuclear reactor? Or near a maunfacturing

plant that uses radioactive materials, such as a munitions plant?

More information is needed.

What is your source of water? Be specific.

Has any family near you experienced the same problem
or is your family the only one?

Did anything change when your family first experienced hairloss?

Something different in the diet? Vaccinations for everyone? Did

you paint the inside of the house? Something common to ALL your

family members had to have occurred.

You can answer the question better then me.

What country are you in?

Then it sounds like it's either the water or the mold.

I would send a sample of your well water to be tested, do you farm the land near the well, do you spray the land?

Yes, we have tested water. And my parents got farm near the well, and water have some E coli bactery, but doctor said its very small and not dangerous, especially for a hair. Anyway, we don't drink the water, we drink always only bottle water from shops. Also, my brother not live with us so it's 100% not the water I think, because he only wash his hands here 1 time per week and he got same problem with full body hair (telogen effluvium).

But it's a village with only fields, and if was there something dangerous from the war, someone would experienced something wrong before I think, why now? We started losing hair 8-9 months ago.

I asked about war because of all the depleted uranium
that's left behind when it's over.

It can get in the food, the water, the air.

It can be in food grown elsewhere that has
depleted uranium scattered about.

It's a huge problem rarely discussed.

That's why I asked where you are but you
don't seem to want to answer that, so I'm
out of suggestions.

Southern Poland had a number of nuclear power
plants.

Even worse, Poland is surrounded by plants in
nearby countries..

Now here's the dirty little secret most people don't
know. These nuclear plants exhaust radioactive
gas periodically as part of their maintenance
and cleaning procedures. Usually at night.

The gas and dust is hundreds and sometimes
thousands of times above permitted levels and
people down wind can get a seriously bad dose.

Not to mention crops and farm animals. Wind changes
and other areas can get the same exposure from
the same plant. And you're surrounded by them.

Just something to consider. You may want to get
tested for radioactive elements in your blood.

No. Considering the large number of nuclear plants
in Europe, it's possible anywhere in Europe.

And since Poland has about four plants in the southern
part of your country, the odds are quite high.

And by the way. Ever heard of Chernobyl ?

Or the Poland State Radioecological Reserve?

thats a good point, then you have to check water, or your source of food. No other alternative if what are you telling is true.

I have no idea why you are posting your story in a hair forum rather than taking your family to a professional doctor.

Please provide some pictures. This is definitely a unique circumstance. It definitely seems like it has to do with external environmental factors.
