Farrel , what is the point in quoting something i said , replying , then locking the thread so I am not given the opportunity to reply and forum readers to make their own minds up , I appreciate its your site and you can do what you wish but I don't see what I said that was offensive or beyond the bounds of sensible discussion ?

this is a very interesting and important scenario that I, as a potential patient, would very much like to explore and discuss.
I believe that Dai did give Dr Feller permission to discuss any medical history as it pertains to his minaturization.
He said "So here's the deal: you may go ahead and use my medical information, BUT, it may only be used towards an explanation of my hairline, and why it appears so wispy. Furthermore, any information you do disclose, must relate specifically to your theory of "miniaturazation", and must contain only physiological observations that you yourself have made during my visits to your office over the past couple of years. If you can agree to that, than by all means, do what you must."
Furthermore, his hairline is 8 1/2 months out and not 5. Mr Farrel you are mistaken. 8 1/2 months is certainly enough time to see something. Perhaps not 100% but, even 50% which Dai claims is not even close to that.
I for one can't wait to hear about the mystery condition but, I have my own take and questions on all of this.
First of all, I don't think that the minaturization is the issue but, lets assume for a moment it is.
Why did the Dr not inform the patient after the first strip surgery?
Why did the Dr not inform the patient after the second strip surgery?
Why did the Dr not inform the patient after the 400 FUE extractions?
Why was Dai only informed of this mystery condition AFTER he complained to the Dr and NOT BEFORE?
Since we can all agree that, according to Dr Feller, the majority of Dai's mid scalp hair has dissappeared due to MPB, then what remains MUST be transplanted hair. If that is the case, then why didnt the hair that Dr Feller planted in the mid scalp disappear, die or minaturize? To claim "it did" which I am certain the Dr will claim, then why didnt it minaturize to the extent of the hairline? Surely all the donor hair was extracted from the same general area, then why did only the FUE grafts minaturize to a much higher degree?
Furthermore, why then is the donor area not minaturized? Why isnt the donor area noticeably thinner? Why is the caliber of the hair not reduced? Again Dr Feller will most likely claim it is, but Dai seems to say it isnt and the photos do not seem to inidicate any abnormality or condition of any kind.
As Dai continues to age he will always be playing catch up with the hair he is planting chasing after the hair he is losing. However to claim that the newly planted FUEs are minaturized is in my opinion not accurate and some other issue is playing a role here.
Dai gave permission and I for one would like to hear Dr Fellers side of the story. Please do post anything in Dai's medical history that would contribute to his condition.

As I said before. Until Dr Feller receives written permission from Dai Vernon to comment I cant allow this thread to continue. It has to be written, not posted on a forum. You are asking questions that Dr Feller cannot answer until he is released from the confidentiality agreement. If you create another thread about this I will delete it.
I will reopen the thread when I receive word that Dr Feller can freely comment. This is my standard rule in situations like this.
