Long time reader first time poster .....

I've been using Apple Cider Vinegar (organic) topically for the last three months and I have noticed a huge improvement in my hair loss and my scalp condition. It also got rid of my dandruff (on my scalp and eyebrows).

You guys should try it.

You can buy Apple cider vinegar at a local grocery store. Make sure its organic non filtered- it has the "mother" in it.

Put it in a spray bottle and spray it all over your scalp ( I don't dilute it with water) . If you have long hair make sure it gets to your scalp. massage it into your scalp. leave it overnight and wash it off in the morning.

It smells when it's wet but the smell goes away once it drys up.
Make sure you don't get it in your eyes .

Why and how does it work? Not sure but it may be killing off bacteria that may be causing hair loss and or dry skin.

You know my brother uses this stuff and it had made his hair much thicker.

 

He's into health food as he has colitis but I noticed last time I saw him ( about 4 months since I saw him last) if he was doing anything for his hair and he said thei Apple cider stuff.

 

I know he doesn't use rogaine or propecia and I know his hair is thicker and he'll be 50 in December.

No I don't but I can try this weekend to take a picture.

 

You would need before shots to at the same angles and lighting to compare or nobody will  be able to see how the product worked on you

The question should be, does apple cider vinegar help with hair loss... or does it just make hair "look" thicker. I've heard it does make hair look thicker. So the benefits may just be only cosmetic. I do drink ACV everyday though, to help alkaline my body.

I too wonder if it's just a cosmetic thickening. I've started drinking a tablespoon or two diluted in water about a month ago. Will probably try applying some to my temples and see if it helps the minituarized hairs at all.

Alpecin C1 shampoo once every 1-2 days.

Skin, hair and nails vitamin once a day.

I just started rinsing my hair with this stuff in the shower this week.

It smells afwul, like old gym socks, but it does make my hair feel nicer after I use it.

I'll keep using it to see if notice any thickening.

I wonder if you could mix ACV with some type of nice smelling oil, like lavender or peppermint, in an attempt to cover up the god awful smell of ACV?
