Hi Guys

Just wanted to say that I have been taking 100mg of Kelp everyday for the past 3 weeks, and my hair is actually getting thicker. Wondered if anyone else has tried it.

Tommyboy,

If you said this 5 months from now I might believe you. The hair would have to fall out and regrow all in three weeks. It take 3-6 months for that to happen.

Existing hair shafts dont just get thicker?

You are having a good hair day! Enjoy it while it lasts...
and continued luck with the kelp- let us know in 5 months.

Not sure about this, I've seen my hair get thicker/thinner within the space of a month or so.

Be careful with the Kelp thought too much could cause serious problems. See the thyroid thread for more details.

I see that Kelp is part of spookys regimen . I wonder if this is a factor , in some of his impressive regrowth ?

Kelp can be dangerous in the long run. It can overwork your thyroid, and in those predestined for thyroid disease, it can make the onset earlier.

I've read about lots of people with hypothyroidism that went more hypo with it.

And, of course, hair loss is a hypo symptom. Trust me, you don't want it!
